"A Real Laughing Stock"
This is the worst company I've ever dealt with. They closed my account and sent me a final bill based on an estimated reading that was higher than what I actually spent. Now, after almost a year, I'm getting calls from Connecta demanding an extra 150€. Iberdrola is a total joke. Their customer service team acts like preschoolers; you have to explain the same thing a hundred times, and they still don’t get it.

This is the most frustrating company I've ever had to deal with. Customer service? Don't make me laugh... they really don't know how to interact with people.
I just found out today from Electric Ireland, who mistakenly showed up at my place, that you lot have bailed and they’re taking over now. I wouldn't care so much, but I've been shelling out 85 every two weeks for the last year. I want to know where that money has been going because it looks like I'm 300 in the hole with Electric Ireland.
I’ll be exploring my legal options regarding this situation. Oh, you’ll definitely be hearing from me, no doubt about it.

"My Account Issues"
I've been getting calls from this company for more than half a year about an electricity bill they say I owe, which is over €400. The thing is, I've never even dealt with them or signed up. The name and email they keep asking me to verify aren't mine at all. No matter how many times I explain this, they just keep calling, sometimes up to six times in a row every few days. I tried blocking their number, but the one that pops up on my phone seems to be a fake! I'm really at my wit's end here.
"Shady Business Practices"
I'm completely appalled by this company and their sneaky sign-up tactics. Just like others have mentioned, a sales rep came to my door and convinced me to go for the €200 cash back offer. She, along with the customer service rep I later spoke to, assured me that I’d receive my cash back after four months. I signed up on February 23rd, and then Iberdrola sent me an early bill just nine days before the four-month mark on June 14th, stating they were exiting the market and wouldn’t honor our agreement. I'm absolutely furious. Iberdrola, you’ve taken advantage of so many customers. The least you could do is provide some kind of discount as a way to make amends. FIX THIS!
I can already imagine them leaving their usual "hard to announce... controlled exit" comments below this review... such a terrible way to conduct business.

Consistently great service. Chaoimhe was super professional and really helpful. I'm bummed you're exiting the Irish market because Iberdrola has been the best utility company I've ever worked with.

"Reliable Business"
Reliable business, no scams here! I snagged a 30% discount since I turned down the cash offer, which is pretty sweet, to be honest. Plus, the customer service was a breeze to contact; I only had to ring them up once. It's a real bummer that RTE announced iberdrola is exiting the market.

Recently, a friendly Iberdola rep showed up at my place to talk about Green Energy. After a long chat, I decided to change my supplier. Just a week after that, Iberdola said they were pulling out of Ireland.

I was looking to switch to them for my electricity provider, but I had to back out because of a contract I still have with my current supplier. After ten days and a bunch of phone calls, my switch still wasn’t cancelled. This is the worst service I’ve ever experienced; every time I call, I just can’t seem to get any closer to sorting it out.

"Great service, but I had to go because of costs"
I decided to part ways with this provider because of pricing concerns, but I gotta give a shoutout to the staff who were always top-notch. The guys at the entrance were super friendly, and another gentleman I spoke with recently was polite and really helpful. Plus, when I called customer service and spoke to Saskia, she was upfront about the costs and answered all my questions thoroughly. I left mainly because of the prices, but I must say the customer service was impressive.
